Vijeta Singh, NP-PHC Medical Director
Vijeta is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in both medical aesthetics and primary care. She is an experienced injector, educator and Medical Director, passionate about cosmetic injectables. As the Medical Director of Joy Medical Cosmetics, Vijeta oversees all of our treatments, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, ethical practice and evidence-based care. With an extended scope of practice, Nurse Practitioners are licensed to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests and treatments. In Ontario, cosmetic injectables require a medical order, meaning RNs and RPNs must obtain authorization from an NP or MD before performing these treatments. Vijeta provides the medical oversight that allows Joy Medical Cosmetics to deliver safe, high-quality treatments. She is our trusted resource for complex medical questions, clinical guidance and support whenever needed.
